Katie Louise
Katie Louise is an emerging Irish contemporary artist whose work explores the depth and delicacy of the human experience.
Through original paintings and fine art prints, she weaves themes of beauty, sensitivity, love, insecurity, light, and shadow into evocative visual narratives.
Her debut exhibition is set for December, with her first official collection launching in early 2026—marking the beginning of a bold and heartfelt creative journey.

Beyond Surface explores the divide between how we are seen physically versus who we truly are inside.
The world can often reduce us to and decide ‘that’s you’ solely based on what they see. I want this painting to challenge our assumptions about perception.
This body doesn’t have a face or identity, but purposefully is of an ‘idealized’ body image.
The head explodes in colours and motions representing a rich inner world invisible to most. Our thoughts, points of view, our personality, and the depth of our hearts.
It’s an appreciation of how truly complex and chaotic it is to be human, to be individual, and how much remains overlooked or misunderstood when we consider how little of a person is truly visible from the outside.

Cailín Álainn, a tribute to my mother. Cailín Álainn because that’s what she’s called me for as long as I can remember.
Born from witnessing her meet one of the hardest chapters in her life, this piece reflects and honours her strength.
Seeing her lose her hair made me realise how deeply we connect who we are to the things we can lose.
This painting is not about loss, it’s about rediscovery and recognition. Recognising that beauty is not on the surface, it is in all the immeasurable components that together make us who we are, the truest form of a person. It’s in our character, our fire, our spirit, and our light.
This painting is for every Cailín Álainn that has ever had to redefine beauty on her own terms. 10% of each print will be donated to XYZ cancer charity with the knowledge that beauty will continue to grow in every new home and in the places where it’s needed most.
